Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get full Wikipedia articles?
Pretty much. We aim to give you full offline access to the Wikipedia articles that you love, while keeping the on-device storage footprint as small as possible. To achieve this, we remove some article components, most notably images and infoboxes. But the original article is always just a tap away if you ever need it (and have an internet connection).
How much space does it require?
The largest library (English) requires around 10 GB of space and downloads in less than an hour on most home internet connections. Subsequent monthly updates are much smaller and install in around five minutes.
Can I try it for free?
Yes – the Omnipedia app is free to download and comes with a built-in demo library so that you can quickly try out all the features. If you like what you see, our annual subscription gives you access to complete libraries with millions of articles, as well as monthly updates. Check the App Store for pricing in your region.
